Bárbara Mendes is a BSc Student, under the supervision of Susana Loureiro and Margarida Fardilha, is developing innovative toxicity tests using gametes from marine organisms as new approach methodologies (NAMs). The project aims to evaluate reproductive risks from environmental contaminants, with relevance for both environmental protection and human health, within the European PARC initiative.
