About
Mónica Pinheiro holds a BSc in Biology and Geology and a Master's in Applied Ecology from the University of Aveiro. She is currently completing her Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Aveiro, conducting her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Magda Henriques. Her work focuses on using magnetic beads coated with a specific antibody targeting the sex-specific membrane protein TLR13, with relevance for the immunological separation of sperm by sex.
