We are pleased to share our latest publication in the Journal of Physiology and Biochemistry:
“Exploring the effects of lifelong aerobic exercise on early skeletal muscle remodeling between 8 and 14 months in the rat”
Our findings show that lifelong aerobic exercise mitigates early age-related skeletal muscle decline, preserving muscle mass, mitochondrial function, and metabolic balance—highlighting the importance of early interventions in preventing sarcopenia.
Congratulations to all authors: Alexandra Moreira-Pais, Rita Ferreira, Maria João Neuparth, Margarida Fardilha , Daniel Moreira-Gonçalves, Paula A. Oliveira and José A. Duarte.
