About
​Vanessa Bowen holds a BSc in Biology and a BA in Spanish from Linfield University (Oregon, USA). She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Coimbra, conducting her thesis research under the supervision of Professor Joana Santiago within the FERTI$CAN project. This project aims to create a panel of candidate sperm biomarkers that can help distinguish between different types of male infertility and improve fertility outcomes.
