Anna Kobrock

About

Holds a bachelor’s degree in Medicinal Biotechnology from School of Health of Polytechnic Institute of Porto. Her bachelor dissertation is entitled “Vine canes as a source of bioactive compounds: an overview of antioxidant properties, phenolic compounds and chemical safety”, was written during the COVID-19 pandemic with the supervision of Doctor Manuela Moreira, Doctor Virginia Fernandes, Doctor Cristina Delerue-Matos from REQUIMTE/LAQV, ISEP and Professor Doctor Ricardo Ferraz from ESS.
Currently attending the second year of her Master’s in Molecular Biomedicine at University of Aveiro, she is developing her thesis at Fardilha’s Lab and at Faculty of Dental Medicine of University of Porto under supervision of Professor Margarida Fardilha and Doctor Pedro Gomes. The thesis, entitled “Protein Phosphatase 1 disrupting peptides as potential modulators of dental pulp regeneration”, aims to modulate the Protein Phosphatase 1 activity in dental pulp regeneration.
