Juliana Felgueiras
About
Juliana Felgueiras holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (2011) and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine (2013), both from the University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal). Currently, she is developing her PhD research at the Signal Transduction Laboratory under supervision of Professor Margarida Fardilha. The project aims to explore the PPP1 interactome in human prostate cancer as a source of potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets. The work involves the collaboration of Professor Carmen Jerónimo (Cancer Biology & Epigenetics Group, IPO-Porto) and Professor José Fernando Mendes (Department of Physics, University of Aveiro), both co-supervisors of the PhD project. Additionally, Juliana has been involved in other projects and collaborations in the field of oncology.
